Source Code Script Review

Yes, I know I just made a post, but I feel like I have to get this off my chest. The other day, I came across a script review of a film in pre-production called Source Code, written by Ben Ripley. What really intrigued me is who is directing it. The fantastic up and comer Duncan Jones, Whose film Moon is one of my favorites from last year. So after hearing that the script was great, I got my hands on it, and read through it over the course of a couple days. The film starts off on a train, with a man by the name of Colter waking up, not knowing where he is or why he is there. He feels nauseous, so he heads to the bathroom, when he notices the vent is open. Looking in he sees a bomb, with a cell phone attached to it. Before he can think, the phone rings, and the bomb explodes, killing Colter and everyone else aboard the train. Now keep in mind, this happens in the first 10 pages of the script. From there, Colter wakes up in a lab to find that he is nothing but a guinea pig in a science experiment, in which the U.S. Military is using him to find who placed the bomb on the train before they strike again. It was one of the most intense stories I've read in quite awhile. Couple that with Duncan Jones talented directorial style, and recently announced Jaky Gylenhall as the lead, and I think this will be one of my favorite films of 2010.

Well I guess i need to get caught up with the works of Director Duncan Jones by watching Moon. This script looks promising, no doubt.
